Facilitating ITC in groups and workshops
How to pace the map-making process across a room — and help participants learn from one another without losing the rigor of the method.
Registration opens late June 2026.
What this workshop covers
The group is both the context and the challenge.
When ITC moves into a group setting, the facilitator has to do more than guide one person through the map — they have to introduce the process to a room, pace the work across multiple people at once, and manage what surfaces between participants. The method doesn't change, but the demands on the facilitator do.
This workshop focuses on those demands: how to create enough structure to keep the work moving without losing responsiveness to individual needs, and how to help people learn from one another's maps without collapsing into a generic group process.
